Northamptonshire Council has completed improvement works within
Castlefield’s using allocated s106 contributions which
included path resurfacing, solar lighting, work to the band stand,
new bins and benches, fencing and refurbishing the toddler play
area. However it was identified the parked lacked play equipment
for junior children therefore it was decided to use the remaining
S106 contributions for Castlefield’s to have junior play
equipment installed within the park.

This work has been procured
in line with NNC’s procurement processes using a request for
quotation form.
The project has been
managed by the Project Teams.
