Following debate it was RESOLVED that the Children, Young Person & Scrutiny Committee
(a) considered the contents of the report and the issues and challenges contained within the officer's report.
(b) recommended to Officers that a future paper be brought back before the Children, Young Person & Education Scrutiny Committe to monitor the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) , (High Needs Block (HNB) performance, and to consider the budgetary challenges being posed to North Northamptonshire Council due to the unprecedented increase in the number of CYP being identified with SEND.
(c) recommend a formal update on readiness for the Ofsted/CQC re-inspection due by November 2025.
(d) Requested that officers supply a summary of improvements made since the January 2024 inspection and how these are being sustained
