It is recommended that
Council:
a)
approves
the scheme for the enrolment of Honorary Aldermen and Honorary
Alderwomen of North Northamptonshire Council as set out in Appendix
A
b)
directs
the Monitoring Officer to undertake the nomination process and
convene a Constitutional Working Group Panel and convene a special
meeting of the Council (immediately followed by an ordinary Council
meeting) for the purpose of approving the appointments
Reasons for
decision
The
recommendation proposed will enable North Northamptonshire Council
to recognise and celebrate the acts of eminent services of past
Councillors.
