North Northamptonshire Council will award the contract for
the Provision of North Northamptonshire Healthwatch services to
Support Northamptonshire. The contract award follows disaggregation
of local Healthwatch services. The contract start date will be
1st July 2025 for an initial term of 21 months, with
options to extend in increments of 12 months up to 24 months. The
total contract value for the initial term + the first 12-month
option for extension is £363,300.
 
The national decision to abolish Healthwatch means a
decision relating the final 12 months available in terms of
extensions and the funding of the final 12 months will need to be
made at a later date.
