To direct award Smoke Free (23 Limited) a two-year
contract with the commencement date being the date that the
contract is signed and the expiry date reflecting this
date.
 
A competitive tender was run to ensure value for money,
and the exercise was carried out in an appropriate
timescale.  The Council will purchase 1,000
licenses that will be distributed to clients over 2 years, as well
as funding the associated Nicotine Replacement Therapy and
e-Cigarette costs that will support users in their efforts to quit
smoking. The app will provide clients with 12 weeks of stop smoking
support.
