RESOLVED
 

That the Executive:

a)       
Considered feedback from the
Corporate Scrutiny Committee on the draft Corporate
Plan.

b)       
Endorsed the Corporate Plan as set
out as Appendix
B, subject to any
amendments relating to recommendation (a).

c)       
Noted that the Corporate Plan
would be reported to the December meeting of Full Council for
formal adoption.

Reason for Recommendations –
The Corporate Plan forms an important part of the Council’s
budget and policy framework and requires consideration at Executive
and formal adoption by Full Council.

Alternative Options Considered
– Do nothing. The Council could choose not to have a
Corporate Plan. This would however mean that the Council did not
have a key part of its policy framework in place. This would make
the process of future decision-making harder and less transparent.
It is not considered to be a realistic viable alternative
option.
