RESOLVED
 

That the Executive noted the
performance of the Council as measured by the available indicators
as at Period 6 (Q1) 2025/26, set out within Appendix A
(now in Agenda Item 5. Finance and
Activity Report), Appendix B
and Appendix C
to this report and provide any
feedback as appropriate.
 
 

Reason for Recommendation: The
reason for this recommendation is to understand and track the
Council’s performance as measured by KPIs as at Period 6 (Q2)
2025/26 so that performance can be managed as necessary.
 
Alternative Options Considered:
 

•          
Reporting performance data on a
less frequent basis. Currently, and throughout 2024-25, there have
been formal reports to Executive and Scrutiny quarterly and monthly
‘core KPI’ reports to all Members. Reporting less
frequently than quarterly is not recommended because it does not
allow appropriate oversight of Council services.

•          
Reporting performance data more
frequently. This has not been chosen in order to align financial
and performance reporting timetables.
