RESOLVED
 
That the Executive:
 

a)           
Noted the Council’s savings
plans forecasted for 2025/26 as set out in table 1.

 

b)           
Noted the savings incorporated
into the budget for 2026/27 as set out in table 2.

 

c)            
Noted the outline of the proposed
transformation activity for 20267/27 onwards in continuing to
deliver financial sustainability.

 

 

Reason for Recommendations –
to note the savings programme for 2025/26 and savings incorporated
into the draft budget proposals.

 

Alternative Options Considered:
The report focuses on the revenue budget savings for 2025/26 and
2026/27 and makes recommendations for the Executive to note the
current budgetary position as such there are no specific choices
within the report.
