Full council record
Purpose
SOWS would like to construct an
open shelter within Sywell Country Park for the storage of swimming
equipment but cannot do so without a license being in place. The
open shelter will benefit all park users. The brief terms of the
license are as follows:
•
Licensee to repair and maintain
the shelter
•
Indefinite term with a rolling 3
month break for either party
•
Peppercorn rent (if
demanded)
This shelter would offer a huge
community benefit for those using Sywell Country Park.
Content
To agree to the attached Heads of Terms for
the grant of a license to SOWS for the construction of a mini leaf
for the storage of swimming equipment. It is an open shelter so it
can be used by other parks users. The cost of constructing and
maintain the shelter will solely be borne by the Licensee, SOWS. As
the mini leaf will not be used exclusively by SOWS it is thought a
license would be an appropriate basis to document the occupation of
SOWS.
