RESOLVED:

 

(i)        
To note that the Provisional
Contract Sum was negotiated in accordance with the provisions set
out in the Service Delivery Contract.

 

(ii)      
To note the 2026/27 Provisional
Contract Sum of £200.773m.

 

(iii)     
To note Northamptonshire
Children’s Trust Medium Term Financial Strategy 2026 –
2029 incorporating the agreed provisional contract sum for
2026/27.

 

Reasons for
Recommendations

 

•            
To note the budget for our Trust
for 2026/27.

•            
To facilitate West
Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire Council’s to set
budgets for the 2026/27 financial year and to meet their duties to
set balanced budgets.

•            
To allow West Northamptonshire and
North Northamptonshire Council’s to build Northamptonshire
Children’s Trust’s MTFP into their respective
MTFP’s.

•            
To meet the requirements set out
in the Service Delivery Contract between West Northamptonshire,
North Northamptonshire Council’s and NCT.

 

Alternative
Options Considered

 

To take no action – This is
not recommended as this will not allow the respective Councils to
fulfil their responsibilities to set balanced
budgets. 
The proposed recommendations are
made to ensure our Trust’s future pressures and savings are
built into the respective Councils MTFP and support our Trust to
deliver the approved Business Plan.
