Purpose

To recommend for approval to
Council the HRA Final Budget 2026-27 and MTFP

RESOLVED:

 

KEY DECISION

 

(i)            
That the Executive recommends to
Full Council the following:

 

a)           
The 2026/27 Housing Revenue
Account budget as set out in Appendix A of the report.

 

b)           
An increase in dwelling rents for
2026/27 of 4.8%, which adheres to the Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government rent setting formula.

 

c)            
The Housing Revenue Account Medium
Term Financial Plan for 2027/28 to 2030/31 as set out in Appendix B
of the report.

 

(ii)          
That the Executive noted the
forecast reserves for the Housing Revenue Account up to 2030/31 as
set out in Appendix C of the report.

 

Reason
for Recommendation

 

To ensure that the Council
complies with its Constitution in setting the budget for North
Northamptonshire.

 

Alternative
Options Considered

 

The budgets have been subject to a
formal budget consultation and scrutiny and the feedback has been
considered as part of this process.
