Follow debate it was RESOLVED
that the Place & Environment
Scrutiny Committee:
 

a) Noted the contents of the report and the
updated Speed Management Policy.
 

b) Provided feedback to officers on any areas
requiring clarification or enhancement.
 

c) Endorsed the Policy for submission to the
Executive for approval.

 

d) Requested additional data, statistics and
information be presented to a future meeting of the committee in
relation to speed management policies.

 

e) Requested that members of the Place &
Environment Scrutiny Committee receive invites to a meeting of the
speed management panel to observe proceedings to gain further
understanding of the processes involved

 

f) Recommended to officers that ward members be
notified and subsequently invited to provide representation to
meetings of the speed management panel where applications are being
considered which would affect highways within their
wards.
