The Audit and Governance Committee noted the Internal Audit progress report on 15/06/2026. The committee exercises its duties and responsibilities within its terms of reference for receiving reports from the Internal Audit service.

The North Northamptonshire South Area Planning Committee (Wellingborough) resolved to grant planning permission for 47 residential dwellings at Land Area 26A Stanton Cross, Mill Road, Wellingborough, subject to a satisfactory section 106 legal agreement by 30 July 2025. If the agreement is not completed, permission will be refused.

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council approved the Speed Management Policy on 14th April 2026. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director of Place and Economy to make minor and technical changes to the policy from 2027 onwards.

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council agreed to withdraw the Ward Member Empowerment Fund and establish a Youth Empowerment Grant Scheme on 14th April 2026. The Ward Member Empowerment Fund will be open for a reduced allocation of £68,000 between 5th May 2026 and 4th August 2026, after which it will be formally withdrawn. £68,000 will be allocated to devise and develop the Youth Empowerment Grant Scheme with the Youth Advisory Council, targeting a September 2026 launch.
