The Democracy and Standards Committee decided on 18/08/2025 to recommend to full council the establishment of an Independent Remuneration Panel. This panel will consist of five members: Luke Bacon, Chris Davison, Gerard Dempsey, Craig Ellis, and Sue Watts, serving until May 2030. The committee also recommended delegating authority to the monitoring officer to fill any vacancies on the panel and to progress reviews of members' allowances.
