Decision

Following debate it was RESOLVED that the Place & Environment Scrutiny Committee:

a)     Request that officers provide an update at a future meeting of the committee in six months in relation to data and performance monitoring of the highways contract extension and Highways Annual Plan.

b)     Request that officers explore the feasibility and bring an item for Scrutiny on the possibility of devolving powers and funding for emergency road defect repairs in the short term to town and parish councils that are interested and have capacity to support this work.
