Approval of the award of Section 106 funding to the value of £51,448.30 to Warmington Parish Council (the Parish) towards: delivering improvements and enhancements to community open space and play park equipment at the Nene Pastures play park in Warmington, in accordance with the requirements of the Section 106 Agreement dated 26/03/2021 (ref 19/00033/MINFUL).

Reasons for the decision

The project was presented to and approved by the Council’s Developer Contributions Board (DCB) on 15/12/2025 and the Council’s Executive (12/05/2026), in accordance with the requirements of the related S106 Agreement, which requires the contributions be used “To upgrade the surface of a section of bridleway PD1 shown on the Bridleway Plan or, in the event this cannot be achieved, for other community benefit purposes at the discretion of Warmington Parish Council but only to be carried out on land belonging to the Owner (in which case both works and relevant land to be agreed by the Owner or his successor in title to the Property acting reasonably and without delay) or on land belonging to a charity community organisation or statutory authority”
