 Approval under the NNC Scheme of Delegation, for introducing a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for Hillside, Little Harrowden pursuant to section 59 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Reasons for the decision

To protect members of the public living in and visiting the area of Hillside, Little Harrowden from crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB). This includes high volume fly-tipping.

To support authorised officers of NNC and Northants Police in dealing with the crime and ASB in the same area. Granting the PSPO will give the officers the powers to take enforcement action against those behaving in an anti-social manner. It will also prevent unauthorised persons from entering the location and committing crime, ASB and fly-tipping. This will have the effect of reducing crime and ASB in the area and improving both the safety and quality of life of members of the public.
