Following the officers presentation it was RESOLVED:

That the Joint Committee of Place & Environment and Corporate Scrutiny Committee recommended to the Scrutiny Management Board, that it considers the establishment of a Task and Finish Group consisting of nine members drawn from cross party membership of both committees to undertake a detailed review of the Highways Maintenance Contract including the Council’s strategic approach to highways maintenance, the delivery of outcomes for residents, performance against agreed standards, and the effectiveness of arrangements for contract management and oversight.
