The Democracy and Standards Committee of North Northamptonshire Council on 20 April 2026 resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 13 November 2025. The committee also recommended to Council the approval and adoption of revisions to the constitution, and resolved to establish a member development working group. Furthermore, the committee recommended to Council that proposed changes to the petition scheme be incorporated into the wider review of the constitution, and that future revisions of the petition scheme be delegated to the monitoring officer.
