6.1. Procuring this contract will enable the Council to continue to provide a Transport to School Case Management System, whilst ensuring that gaps in current capability are fully addressed, thereby providing a better value for money solution for customers, users, and stakeholders.
6.2. The procurement route is compliant with the associated legislation and the Council’s established rules and procedures governing its procurement activities at the value of this requirement and has been agreed by colleagues in the Procurement team and Legal Services team.
6.3. Agreement by the Executive Director of Place and Director of Finance was received on 16/07/26. Confirmation from the Executive Director of Finance 17/07/26.
6.4. The Purchasing Gateway Group is recommended to approve use of a Direct Award through the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) (previously CCS VAS) RM6259 Lot 2. to The Access Group for the Synergy product, for a period of sixty (60) months.
