Decision

To approve the award of the contract for the provision and implementation of a corporate Geographic Information System to ESRI (UK) Limited, following completion of the further competition under the Crown Commercial Service Vertical Application Solutions Framework RM6259, and to authorise completion of the associated call-off contract. 

Reasons for the decision

A compliant competitive procurement has been completed and ESRI (UK) Limited was identified as the successful bidder. Award is required to secure a supported, resilient and unified GIS platform, maintain continuity of critical and statutory services, reduce reliance on fragmented and legacy GIS arrangements, and enable implementation, migration, training and service transition. Executive approved the procurement on 17 February 2026 and delegated authority for the further decisions and actions needed to conclude the procurement and implementation.
