Waste Management Plan

KEY DECISION
 
 

That the Executive noted the progress against
the Waste Management Three- Year Plan and agreed to the remaining
actions and timescales for these to be delivered.

Reasons
for Recommendations: Given the time elapsed since the
Plan was adopted and the progress against the Plan, it is valuable
to have the comments and views from the Executive on the progress
made to date and the remaining actions to be
implemented.

 

Alternative Options Considered – There is
the option for the Executive not to comment on the Plan or approve
the updated plan. This option is not recommended because it is good
practice to review plans during their implementation period to
check progress and make any amends to reflect changes in
circumstances. A review at this stage of the plan ensures it
remains relevant to the objectives and priorities of the
Council.
