RESOLVED
 

That
the Executive approved the updated Performance
Management Framework and KPI set for 2024/25, noting
that:
 

·            
The Framework and KPI set are the
result of a process of consultation and review by management teams
across services and aligned to strategic goals as set out in the
Corporate Plan.

·            
The
proposed performance management framework and KPI set make
improvements to reporting arrangements for 2024/25.

·            
The formal reporting to Executive will be on a quarterly
basis with effect from 2024/25 with the core indicator set being
made available to Members on a monthly basis.
 

Reasons for Recommendation
– it is important that the Council reviews its Performance
Framework and KPI set to ensure that this reflects the measures
needed to assess performance against the Council’s key
priorities.

 
Alternative Options
Considered: To remain with the current suite of KPI’s and
performance management framework. This option, however, runs the
risk of our performance management approach and suite of
KPI’s being out of date and unfit for purpose.
