General Licensing and Registration Sub-Committee

The General Licensing and Registration Sub-Committee determines applications, which cannot be dealt with by officers, made under: ·       Part B of the Schedule 1, Part B of the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 (e.g. concerning hackney carriage and private hire vehicle licences) ·       Schedule 3 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 as amended by section 27 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009 (concerning sex establishments)   Three members sit on the sub-committee selected from the membership of the General Licensing and Registration Committee, which considers licensing policy relating to these functions.
