About

The Harrogate and Knaresborough Area Planning Committee is responsible for considering and deciding on planning applications within its geographical area that are not handled by the Strategic Planning Committee or delegated to council officers. Members of the public can attend meetings as observers and may register to speak on specific applications, with designated speakers representing objectors, parish councils, local councillors, and applicants each having five minutes to present their case. Registration to speak must be completed three clear working days before the meeting.
