Purpose

This decision allows the Council to complete the RIBA stage 4 design and obtain firm construction costs to allow the demolition and replacement of aged and dilapidated temporary classrooms at Mill Lane Primary School with new purpose built accommodate to fulfil its statutory duty to provide Basic Need pupil places.

The decision has been made to appoint Beard under a JCT Pre Construction Services Agreement contract for the value of £136,275.29

Reasons for the decision

Beard provide the most economically advantageous tender in a competitive tender exercise on the Procure Partnership framework.
