Licensing Committee

The Licensing Committee is responsible for making decisions on various licences, including those for hackney carriage and private hire vehicles. It considers applications for issuing, suspending, revoking, refusing to renew, or amending the conditions of these licences. The committee's role is to handle cases that have not been delegated to council officers or when an officer refers an application for their consideration.
