Purpose

Approval to consult on Peterborough Local Plan Proposed Submission Version and submit to government following consultation period.

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED to:

1. Comment on the Minerals and Waste local plan documents and provide feedback ahead of public consultation in August and October.
2. Approve the publication of the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Minerals and Waste Timetable set out in Appendix 1 of this report, and delegate authority to the Head of Planning to update and republish the Timetable as required by regulation.
3. Approve the publication of the draft Notice of intention set out in Appendix 2 of this report to commence the minerals and waste plan document preparation, and delegate authority to the Head of Planning to make any final changes ahead of publication.
4. Approve the publication and subsequent consultation on the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Minerals and Waste Local Plan Scoping Consultation Document and supporting documents, including a Call for Sites set out in Appendices 3 to 7 of this report and delegate authority to the Head of Planning to make any final changes ahead of publication.
