About

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee at Redditch Borough Council is responsible for holding the Council's decision-making Executive Committee to account. It reviews the Council's performance, conducts and contributes to policy reviews, and scrutinises external organisations and partnerships. The Committee can commission detailed policy reviews from smaller groups of councillors, known as Task Groups, and can examine any internal council procedure or matters of public interest. Members of the public can register to speak at meetings, with a time limit allocated for public contributions.
