Purpose

To consider the write off historic debt
relating to Temporary and Emergency Accommodation.

Decision

RESOLVED –
that the Executive RECOMMEND to
approve:
 
i)              
That a total of £0.395 of debt relating to Temporary and
Emergency Accommodation is written off the accounting ledger so
that an accurate and true debt figure is shown in the
Council’s statutory accounts.
ii)            
That a bad debt provision of £0.224 is used to mitigate
this debt.
iii)          
That the balance of £0.171m is funded from
reserves.
