Purpose

section 106 contributions to assist Registered Providers to deliver
affordable housing.

Decision

RESOLVED that
Executive agrees to:
 
(i)            
Authorise the allocation of £1 million of Affordable
Housing Section 106 contributions from Capital Reserves to be used
to support the delivery of affordable rented housing in the
borough, and
 
(ii)          
Delegate authority to the Head of Housing and Intervention to
approve expenditure of the £1 million budget of Affordable
Housing Section 106 contributions from Capital Reserves to support
the delivery of affordable rented housing by Registered Providers
in consultation with the Portfolio for Housing and Support and
Chief Finance Officer.
