Memorial Park Charity - Service Level
Agreement and Café Lease
Decision
RESOLVED –
that the Partner, Shareholder and Trustee Executive Sub-Committee
acting on behalf of the Memorial Sports Ground Charity:
(i)
Approves the proposed Service Level Agreement (SLA) between
Reigate & Banstead Borough Council in the form annexed (as
service provider) and the ‘Memorial Sports Ground’
Charity (as trustee body) for the management and maintenance of
Memorial Park and authorise the Legal Services Manager to finalise
and enter into the SLA on behalf of the
‘Memorial Sports Ground’ Charity.
(ii)
Approves the proposed café lease and rent deposit deed
for the Memorial Park café tenant, enabling the documents to
be executed on behalf of the ‘Memorial Sports Ground’
Charity, and authorise the Legal Services Manager to complete the
café lease and associated legal documentation.
(iii)
Authorises the Legal Services Manager, following consultation
with the Strategic Head of Communities & Wellbeing, the Head of
Property Services, and the Executive Member for Finance, Assets,
and Governance & Executive Member for Greenspaces and
Environmental Sustainability to make any minor amendments that may
be required to the proposed SLA and/or to the proposed lease and
rent deposit deed.
