Purpose

This is a request for approve the direct award of a 2-year contract to Virtual Mail Room Ltd, providing a hybrid mailing service for Council Tax and Business Rates bills, and Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support award letters

Decision

RESOLVED – that the Executive:

(i)             Approved a direct award for external printing and postages to Virtual Mail Room via a direct award through the RM6280 Framework (Postal Solutions and Solutions Framework, part of the Crown Commercial Services).

(ii)           Approved a 2-year agreement for the value of £360,000 which will start on 1 January 2027, or earlier if applicable.
