Purpose

This report will review and consider leisure
assets for the next five years

RESOLVED that the committee:
1. 
NOTE the contents of this report and
AGREE the appended Leisure Infrastructure Plan and year one
action plan, the scope of the plan and the approach
taken.
2. 
NOTE the capital investment of £2m
requested to deliver the improvements to maintain services will be
included within the capital programme update to the Finance, Policy
and Resources committee later this month.
3. 
NOTE that additional funding will be sought
following submissions from the preferred provider who will be
selected to operate the leisure services from 1st October 2026.
(This additional funding will be used to further enhance services
with a focus on Pools on The Park and Teddington Sports Centre and
funding will be requested following review to ensure the proposals
generate efficiencies which cover the cost of financing the
investments made).
