delivery of the DWP's Connect to Work programme and the authority
required to enter into a funding agreement with the accountable

RESOLVED:
The Committee resolved to:
a)
Note the purpose and content of the Connect to Work programme as
per DWP guidance and the delivery arrangements through South London
Partnership (SLP)
b)
Agree that the Work Match service provides the relevant employment
support and integration services with reporting and accountability
arrangements to LB Croydon (accountable body for the SLP area) in
line with an agreed Delivery Plan
c)
Note the internal governance and proposed external partnership and
governance arrangements to achieve wider integration with community
healthcare delivery in line with DWP compliance requirements.
d)
Note the programme reporting requirements to the DWP through SLP,
proposed local reporting arrangements and the consequent changes to
Work Match corporate reporting from 2025 onwards.
e)
Delegate to the Director of Place in consultation with the
Executive Director for Finance approval to enter into any financial
agreements necessary for the Council to deliver the Connect to Work
programme
