The SSA Executive Director of Environment and
Community Services:
i) Note the results of an informal public consultation and officer
responses attached at APPENDIX A;
ii) Approves the introduction on an experimental basis, under
Section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (ETMO), as per
plan attached at APPENDIX C:
• Introduction of one-way working (north-west to south-east)
for the entire length of Third Cross Road from its junction with
Staines Road to Hampton Road;
• Introduction of an advisory cycle contra-flow (south-east to
north west), subject to detailed design and road safety audit;
and
• Removal of the existing 7.5T environmental weight
restriction on Third Cross Road.
