Purpose

To note the feedback received from the
recently-advertised Traffic Management Orders (TMO) proposing a new
controlled parking zone (CPZ) in the Leeson Estate area and to
agree the way forward.

Content

The Executive Director of Environment and
Community Services notes the results of the consultation and agrees
to the following recommendations:
• That the proposals for a CPZ in the Leeson Estate area be
implemented, operating Monday to Friday, 10am to 4.30pm in the
following roads/area: Clarendon Crescent, Fielding Avenue,
Fortescue Avenue, Natalie Mews, Sixth Cross Road, Staines Road
(part), Turner Avenue, and Twining Avenue as advertised
• That the proposed yellow lines in Staines Road and all other
locations within the area be implemented as advertised
• That proposals for a new CPZ in the Fulwell Park Estate area
(including Hospital Bridge Road [part]) not be progressed any
further at this time
• That the footway parking bays in Hospital Bridge Road be
removed
• That officers agree any final minor amendments to the final
layout of measures with the ward councillors as necessary
• That all properties within the consultation boundary are
informed of the decision, and the Council’s website
updated
