The Adult Social Services, Health and Housing Committee approved the use of Provider Selection Regime Direct Award Process B. This decision, made on 17 November 2025, allows for direct award of new contracts to existing NHS primary care providers, including GP surgeries and pharmacies, for Public Health Locally Commissioned Services. The contracts will be for an initial two-year period from April 2027, with an option to extend for a further eight years.
