RESOLVED that the Transport and Air
Quality Committee:
 
 
i. 
notes the progress being made in providing and encouraging greater
use of
cargo bikes;
 
ii. 
agrees in principle to setting aside space in a Council car park
for freight consolidation as noted in paragraph 3.17;
 
iii. 
delegates to the Interim Director of Place, in consultation with
the Chair of the Committee, to respond to the Government’s
current consultation on amending legislation affecting electrically
assisted pedal bikes, including e-cargo bikes, as set out in
section 4.
