Purpose

Legislation has been amended and gives
Councils to option to increase financial amounts of Fixed Penalty
Notices for Littering and Fly Tipping offences

RESOLVED:
That
the Committee APPROVED retaining the current level of financial
penalty for S87 EPA for Littering offences but increases the
penalty for S33 EPA, Fly Tipping offences to the maximum amount of
£1000.00 reduced to £500.00 if paid within 10
days.
