Purpose

Direct Award of Residential Care Contracts for
1 year from 1st April with an estimated total value of
£3,590,000 to three existing providers  (United
Response, Lifeways and Certitude) to ensure continuity of care and
support provided at 9 residential care services whilst the agreed
strategy to reprocure these services, which was considered at
3rd October 2022 Adult Social Services, Health and
Housing Committee via mini-competition from the Accommodation-based
care and support framework is implemented for long-term contract to
start 1st April 2025.

the Committee:
 
a) 
APPROVED
the extension in
part of the four contracts for Residential Care services for up to
12 months to the incumbent providers as outlined in Section 3.8 or
the report at an estimated cost to Richmond
Upon Thames of £5,802,455 per annum.
