Purpose

An update on the development of the
organisation’s Change Programme, which aims to ensure we have
an effective workforce, delivering excellent services, within a
financially sustainable framework.

RESOLVED:
 
The Finance, Policy and Resources
Committee:
 
a) 
Approved the programme of change set out in this
report.
 
b) 
Approved the proposed one-off initial allocation of
£2.2m of the Council's Invest to Save Reserve to establish a
new 'Change Programme Delivery Fund' to underpin the programme and
facilitate longer term change.
 
c) 
Agreed to delegate authority to the Chief Executive
/ Director of Finance to draw down and spend this allocation of
funds, as detailed in paragraph 4.3; 
 
d) 
Noted that progress reports will be submitted to the
Finance, Policy & Resources Committee on twice yearly
basis.
