RESOLVED:
 
The Finance, Policy and Resources
Committee:
 
a) 
Agreed the proposal to offer Richmond community
schools the option of joining the Council's utilities contract via
LASER from 2024 onwards.
 
b) 
Agreed not to purchase REGOs for schools.
 
c) 
Noted that the addition of schools to the contract
means the Council becomes the underwriter for the utilities for
schools and will be responsible for payment if a school
defaults.
 
d) 
Noted the plan to communicate the opportunity of the
decarbonisation framework and opting into the utilities
contract.
