Purpose

This report outlines representations received
in response to an informal consultation regarding proposed changes
to traffic and waiting (parking) restrictions on Staines Road,
Twickenham.

Content

Details of decision
The SSA Director of Environment and Community Services:

i) Notes the representations summarised in APPENDIX A of the
report;

ii) Approves the introduction of double yellow lines/At any time
waiting restrictions under an experimental Section 9 Traffic
Management Order (RTRA 1984) as shown on the drawing at APPENDIX B;
and

iii) Approves the advertisement of a Traffic Management Order under
Section 84 of the RTRA 1984 for a 20mph speed limit on Staines Road
(between Fifth Cross Road and a point just west of Sixth Cross
Road). Representations to be reported to the Transport and Air
Quality Committee.
