Content
RESOLVED: That the Committee:
a)
APPROVE the
contents of this report;
b)
NOTE the
forecast(s) for temporary accommodation use (as set out in tables 2
and 3 therein);
c)
NOTE the
resources forecast and the lettings plan (as set out in Appendices
1 and 2);
d)
SUPPORT the
creation of six FTE posts as detailed in paragraphs 3.73 to 3.82,
subject to the approval of the Finance Policy and Resources
Committee; and
e)
DELEGATE the
setting of charges for temporary accommodation to the Director of
Housing and Regeneration as set out in paragraph 3.89.
And RECOMMEND
to the Finance, Policy
and Resources Committee:
f)
to approve a
positive revenue budget addition of £2.2m from 2023/24 and in
a full year in respect of the forecast for temporary accommodation
usage; and
g)
to approve positive revenue budget addition of
£200,000 in 2023/24 and £265,000 from 2024/25 and in a
full year in respect of the staffing proposals contained within
this report.
