RESOLVED: That the Committee

  1. Review and endorse the following recommendations of the PPRB report:

·  The continued use of the Sports App and website for bookings

·  The continued application of the current 55-minute pool sessions

·  Extend the outdoor pool lane swimming sessions to 10.30am

·  Consider providing discounted pricing for families

·  Strengthen the marketing campaign.

  1. Note that Swim England (National Governing Body) have undertaken an aquatic review of the swimming pool programming.
  2. Note that officers will develop proposals to implement the Swim England review recommendations set out below in consultation with the Chair of the Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sport Committee

o  Move to a 50-week swimming lesson programme

o  Review the pool programme and its layout

o  Review the delivery method of swimming lessons and elite pathway links

o  Review the management and delivery of the free swim pass scheme
