Purpose

The Council receives requests throughout the
year concerning road safety problems caused by parked vehicles. In
order to alleviate these problems, the Council will consider the
introduction of measures such as yellow lines and/or footway
parking exemptions. In addition to this, the Council will consider
changes to the designation of existing parking places where
appropriate.

The SSA Executive Director of Environment and
Community Services:

i) notes the statutory representations received and officer
responses to the schemes set out in Appendix A;

ii) approves the implementation of the measures for the locations
detailed in para. 7.3, for which no representations were
received

iii) approves the implementation of the proposals as set out in
this report under Appendix A, for which representations were
received.
