This report recommends award of contract
following the recent procurement process.

Content

RESOLVED: That the committee,
 
1. 
Award a new contract to Bidder 2 for
the provision of green space management services for
Richmond’s parks and other open spaces, for a period of six
years, with an option to extend for a further six years, subject to
formal contract and satisfactory conclusion of the statutory
standstill period.
 
2. 
Note that following
award and a period of mobilisation the contract will commence on 1
February 2025.
 
3. 
Note the evaluation and
pricing contained within the confidential element of this
report.
 
4. 
Delegate authority to the Executive Director of Environment
and Community Services in consultation with the Chair of the
Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports
Committee to award Components C and D if
after further consideration they are considered to be of an
appropriate value and quality as per para 3.8.
