Purpose

This report will review the approach to the
commissioning of cultural services across the borough.

Content

RESOLVED: That the committee,
 
1. 
Approve the adoption of the proposed revised procedure for
Cultural Commissioning for the next three years, 2025-28 and to
agree to the proposed funding and ongoing management of this
programme.
 
2. 
Approve the delegation of decisions on individual funding
agreements to the Director of Culture and Leisure.
 
3. 
Note the extensive consultation with existing partners and
the management of risk of any funding reduction in paragraphs 12.1
to 12.4.
 
4. 
Note the links between the new programme and LBRuT’s Culture Richmond objectives as
detailed in Appendix 3.
