RESOLVED that the Education &
Children’s Services Committee note
 
 
i. 
the current projected underspend on the General Fund
revenue services for this Committee is £0.099 million;
 
ii. 
the ringfenced Dedicated Schools Grant is forecast
to overspend by £2.881 million this year leading to a
cumulative surplus on the fund at the end of the year of
£0.449 million. The in-year position allows for the
successful claim of £0.960 million in safety valve funding
and a £1.2 million contribution from the General Fund. This
comfortably meets the requirements of the Department for Education
(DfE) Safety Valve Agreement;
 
iii. 
 and  the latest position on the
Capital Programme.
